Since our first recording in 2000, the music program at Royal York Road United Church has continued to expand in exciting ways - cause for celebration, and another CD!

The selections on this recording loosely “walk” through the church year. Stars and candles light the way from Advent through Epiphany. The mood turns more contemplative as Lent addresses themes of loneliness and fear, but the Youth remind us ”Don’t be Afraid” - love is stronger. God’s light leads to Easter victory and the faith affirmation of Pentecost. The Light that guided the Magi (Golden Carol) still guides the faithful on their life journey today.

We enjoyed recording some of our musical favourites; we hope you enjoy listening to them. Soli Deo Gloria - to God alone be the glory.
